The Exiles Return

Pierre Berton’s beloved children’s classic The Secret World of Og comes to life in this half-hour animated series airing on CBC Kids (cbc.ca). Co-produced with Helix Digital and Long Shot Partners, Og is the story of Penny, Pamela, Patsy, and Peter, brothers and sisters whose adventures begin when they discover a secret world beneath the floorboards of their playhouse. In an anxious search to find their missing baby brother Paul, affectionately known as the Pollywog, the children travel through this strange land, down winding underground rivers, through mushroom valleys, to a land of strange ruins and ancient relics—into The Secret World of Og.

Our friendly characters A and B—Alice and Bob—explore and explain things like how a flashlight works (electromagnetism), why it’s dark at night (cosmology), and what keeps us stuck to the Earth (Einsteinian gravity)--all in 60 seconds flat.
